1. Primer the whole bumper 2. Paint the bumper trying to avoid painting the diffuser area, but not covering the diffuser area (you can cever it if you want). 3. Paint the diffuser area mate black, covering the rest of the bumper to avoid overspray.It ends up looking pretty good that way, but maybe your paint guy has a better way to do it...If so, let me know! About the mate black code, I don't have any on hand since the paint mixer guy just started making a dark grey mix until I was happy with what I saw, but you're right it would be better if I give everyone a paint code, so you'll have a better idea of what tone of mate black looks the best. I'm going to repaint the diffuser on my white Z to make it lighter like the one on the red Z and get the right code to let everyone know so they can start with something. Thanks!
